Your Social Worker is your FIRST point of contact for questions regarding payment procedures, insurance, and policies. Discounted fees (based on Federal poverty guidelines) are available for 1917 Outpatient and Dental Clinic Services.

Most types of insurance are accepted by the Clinic, including Medicare and Medicaid. If your insurance requires a co-payment, you will be expected to pay this charge at the time of your visit.

The Clinic (through the University of Alabama Health Services Foundation) will file your insurance claims. You will be mailed a bill for any charges not covered by your insurance.

If you are unable to pay these charges in full, a payment schedule can be set up with the billing office. Your Social Worker can answer any questions about payment procedures and policies.
